Active ingredients

amlodipine besylate (amlodipine besylate) (in terms of amlodipine) 7 mg (5 mg)

Auxiliary ingredients

lactose monohydrate (milk sugar) 64 mg; povidone (polyvinylpyrrolidone) K-30 3 mg; calcium carbonate 20 mg; potato starch 5 mg; calcium stearate 1 mg

Antihypertensive cardiology
  • arterial hypertension (both in monotherapy and in combination with other hypotensive drugs),
  • stable angina and vasospastic cardiac angina (Prinzmetal cardiac angina) (both in monotherapy and in combination with other antianginal drugs).

To be administered by mouth and swallowed whole with a drink of water (100 ml). The normal starting dose amounts to 5 mg in patients with arterial hypertension and cardiac angina (can be taken in 5 mg dosage tablet form), depending on the patient’s personal response, it can be increased to a maximum daily dose which is 10 mg.

Administration in elderly patients: normal dose usage is recommended, dose modification is not required.

Administration in patients with impaired liver function: despite the fact that the drug half-life, as all calcium channel blocking agents, increases in patients with this pathology, dosage modification in patients with impaired liver function is usually not required (see section «Special instructions»).

Administration in patients with renal insufficiency: normal doses are recommended, but it is necessary to consider a possible slight increase in half-life.

When administered in combination with thiazide diuretics, beta-blockers or ACE inhibitors Amlodipine dosage modification is not required.

Shelf life
3 years. Prohibited to use after expiry date.

Storage conditions
Store in a place that is dry and protected from light at a temperature below +25°С. Keep out of reach of children.
